If you were to write one statement about yourself, on a post-it, what would it be? If you were to choose one adventure to try what would it be? If you were to travel to one place what would it be? If you were to spend $100 on something what would it be? If you were to make one phone call to a person whom it would he/she be? If you were to pray one prayer what would you say? If you were to save one person who would he/she be? If you were to choose your country, what would it be? If you were to buy one flower, which one would it be? If you were to come back in the next life, what do you wanna be? If you were to give me one book what would it be? If you were to buy a meal, what would it be? If you were to buy a gift, what would it be? To whom? If you were to take one photo, what would you photograph? If you were to dance one dance, with whom it would be? If you are to learn one language, what would that be? If you were to choose your job/career again, what would it be?
Have you ever thought about the choices that you had or still have in your life? Have you ever postponed things you always wanted to do? Have you ever counted the blessings that you have and others don’t? Have you ever thought about how far you can go if you put your mind into it? Have you ever thought about what decisions you had to take, where you thought you had no choices but in fact you did? Have you ever thought how many times you blamed others versus how many times you blamed yourself? Have you ever thought about what you can do versus about what you can’t? Have you ever let yourself go? Have you ever let things go? Have you ever let people go? Have you ever thought about how many people love you versus how many people don’t? How important you are to many?
We get used to forget about about important things and we get used to wait for things to happen to us, for a good job to come, for a true love to cross our road, for a winning lotto ticket to fall in our lap… sometimes even we wait for miracles…. Well I got news for you; you’re gonna be waiting for a long long time 🙂
I guess you’ve done enough time waiting and it is time to get moving… try to be fully present in the moment you are living… start doing what you have to do, what you like to do… our days run in one way direction…no U turns, no come backs…
Napoleon Hill, an American author, said: “Do it now! Can affect every phase of your life. It can help you do the things you should do but don’t feel like doing. It can keep you from procrastinating when an unpleasant duty faces you. But it can also help you do those things that you want to do. It helps you seize those precious moments that, if lost, may never be retrieved.”
And Maxwell Maltz, a plastic surgeon and a motivational author, said: “What is opportunity, and when does it knock? It never knocks. You can wait a whole lifetime, listening, hoping, and you will hear no knocking. None at all. You are opportunity, and you must knock on the door leading to your destiny. You prepare yourself to recognize opportunity, to pursue and seize opportunity as you develop the strength of your personality, and build a self-image with which you are able to live / with your self-respect alive and growing.”
Seize your moment…Seize your day… Seize your life…

It was very windy yesterday in Cape Town. This guy seized the moment and decided to do kite surfing. Yes he is up in the air!
